Cash Campbell makes music that highlights the best of pop and country, crafting a sound that is modern and refreshing. His catchy discography and southern charm has grasped the attention of an audience that ranges from Florida Georgia Line to Imagine Dragons. With recent releases such as “The In Between” and an acoustic version of “Don’t Wanna Think About It,” Campbell seems well situated for an incredibly successful year ahead.

At 15 years old, Campbell realized his destiny was to make music as opposed to scooping ice cream, so he quit his job at Baskin Robbins to start a band. Throughout his youth he sang in choirs, talent shows, and local gigs, but it wasn’t until college that he rediscovered his love for country music’s style of songwriting.

"When I was growing up in Texas, you couldn't avoid country music," he says. "Everyone was going to Pat Green shows and Josh Abbott shows. But I experimented with all these other genres and years later, primarily in the past two years, I just fell back in love with country music again and began approaching my songwriting from a new perspective. It was this wonderful world I think I was meant to be a part of all along."

Campbell’s dream career was to write songs for other artists. He was close to licensing a song to another band when he made the decision to pursue a career as a solo artist and put the song out under his own name. In 2017 he emerged onto the scene with the release “Cannonball,” a song that accumulated millions of streams and drove exponential growth in his fan base.

Striving to paint a picture that people can resonate with, Campbell’s songwriting plays a large role in the final outcome of his music. Fusing his love for dance music, rock, and 80s country, Campbell draws influence from artists such as Diplo, Dave Matthews Band, and Garth Brooks. His diverse taste, knowledge of multiple genres, and passion for storytelling is what makes his sound so unique and addictive. Working to exceed boundaries and break down walls, Campbell has dedicated all his time and energy to make his vision become a reality.

Now, working alongside Peer Astrom, a renowned Swedish producer, and Chris LaCorte, guitarist for Dustin Lynch, the trio fearlessly experiment with sounds, making each of Campbell’s songs individual. Embracing the fact that he isn’t compartmentalized into just one genre, Campbell is able to try something new with each release.
